A couple of recent paintings

I have been having a tidy up of my studio recently which is always an interesting exercise. I came across a mixture of paintings, some produced outside as colour sketches, others never having been turned into anything 'finished' and some that I never got to complete. Having revisited the work it was refreshing how clearly the memories came flooding back and I felt confident enough to complete the work in the same spirit that inspired it originally.  Here are a couple of examples which have either been finished off or painted from those original sketches.

Dusk, Oil on board, 30cm x 40cm

Towards Hunstanton, Oil on board, 14cm x 30cm
Sunset - West Mersea, Oil on board, 13cm x 27cm

Beyond Blakeney, Oil on board, 25cm x 40cm

You may see some of these paintings in forthcoming exhibitions around East Anglia.  If you would like to enquire about any of these paintings please feel free to contact me by clicking here
