Not the Royal Academy at Llewellyn Alexander (Fine Paintings)

I have just returned from London after collecting my painting from the Royal Academy to take along to the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery.  I am pleased to say that the painting got through a further selection process at Llewellyn Alexander in London and it will be shown in their summer exhibition 'Not the Royal Academy'

I was also very pleased that they accepted an additional painting I had taken along with me which will mean both will be part of the exhibition between 7 June - 18 August 2012.  The painting is titled 'Embankment' and was painted plein air alongside artist Roy Connelly. Below are the two paintings:

Sunset - West Mersea - Oil on Board - £460

Embankment - Oil on Board - £460

While I was in there I decided to add to my London sketchbook and just had time for this sketch made just beyond the embankment painting near the underground station.
